I suppose it all depends on your perspective. A 455 out of a '70 Olds Toronado, complete with its TH425 transaxle, would make one helluva a mid-engine, uh, buggy? The word doesn't quite sound right referring to such heavy metal...

Yeah, it would be a monster, but the 455 had 500 ft-lbs of torque box stock and the transaxle is pretty bullet-proof. I suppose something like suspension bridge girders would be needed for the frame, but it sure would be a wild ride.
