- St. Joseph State Park, approx. 50 miles south of St.Louis on U.S.67 approx.1500 acres of trails,hills,etc.Camping is available with electric and primitive sites. Contact park office for more details on fees,etc. Phone at park office is (314)431-1069 I've been there several times and the trails are awesome and camping facilities are excellent.Farmington is 7 miles from the park and is a good size town.
