Home Dyno Software
- Home Dyno ($40) A "software only" solution designed for the "do-it-yourselfer". There are instructions on this page on how to order an inductive pickup and wire it to a recording device. The recorded "sound" is then converted to a WAV file by loading the sound into your PC via a sound card. The software then performs an analysis on the WAV file to calculate engine HP/torque. These are real HP and Torque numbers and can be quite accurate.
